Regional Themed Merchandise and Stamp Rally Events to Be Held
Everland, in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization, will launch a nationwide travel-themed campaign featuring the twin pandas, Ruibao and Huibao, touring across South Korea through the end of this year.
On July 9, the Korea Tourism Organization and Everland, the resort division of Samsung C&T Corporation, announced that they had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) at the Korea Tourism Organization headquarters in Wonju, Gangwon Province, for the joint campaign titled "Every Corner of Korea with Rui & Hui."
The signing ceremony was attended by Kim Youngmi, Head of the Tourism AI Innovation Division at the Korea Tourism Organization, and Lee Chaeseong, Executive Vice President and Head of Everland Resort Business Division, among others. They discussed strategies for expanding the reach of the joint campaign through both companies’ digital channels, as well as collaboration measures to link regional tourism initiatives.
"Every Corner of Korea" is a leading domestic travel information service platform operated by the Korea Tourism Organization. This joint campaign follows the story of twin pandas Ruibao and Huibao, who were born at Everland on July 7, 2023, as they tour across the country making cherished memories before their scheduled relocation to China upon turning four years old.

Local attractions, festivals, and specialties are incorporated into the pandas’ travel stories and offered as limited-edition merchandise. The campaign also encourages customers to visit each region themselves, providing opportunities to experience activities such as the "Digital Tourism Resident Card" and "Half-Price Travel," to share the joy of nationwide travel.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to strengthen the campaign by closely connecting the Korea Tourism Organization’s domestic tourism content platform with Everland’s website, social media, and other digital channels.
Additionally, to enable panda fans to enjoy local attractions while following the campaign’s storyline, a stamp rally event will be held linking major tourism hubs in the six regions nationwide, and collaboration goods reflecting the unique characteristics of each area will be launched sequentially.
Previously, Everland selected Jeollado, the hometown of "Panda Grandpa" zookeeper Kang Cheolwon, as the first travel destination. The campaign featured content and merchandise with a rural vacation ("chon-cance") concept capturing the vibrant summer scenery of Gochang, known for its watermelons, which received an enthusiastic response.
In particular, the "Ruihui Travel Companion Doll" featuring the twin pandas in travel outfits quickly sold out during an online shopping live stream, becoming a must-have item among panda fans.
The "Every Corner of Korea with Rui & Hui" campaign will continue beyond Jeollado to include major regions like Chungcheong, Jeju, Gyeongsang, Gangwon, and Seoul–Gyeonggi. Panda zookeepers such as Kang Cheolwon, Song Youngkwan, and Oh Seunghee will participate as regional ambassadors, introducing the diverse appeal of South Korea.
Kim Youngmi commented, "Ruibao and Huibao are beloved nationwide, and this campaign is a great opportunity to widely promote the hidden charms of regional tourism in Korea. We will undertake multifaceted publicity efforts so that more people can participate in this campaign and travel to every corner of the country."
