Hapcheon County in South Gyeongsang Province announced that Kim Hyunmi, former Deputy Governor of Geochang County, has been appointed as the 38th Deputy Governor of Hapcheon County and officially began work on the 7th.

She later held various roles in Gyeongsangnam-do, including Budget Officer, Head of Youth Policy Promotion, Director of Small Business Policy, Director of Women's Policy, and Director of Cultural Heritage. In July 2025, she was promoted to Deputy Director-General (Grade 3) and served as Deputy Governor of Geochang County.
Hapcheon County has evaluated Deputy Governor Kim as having a wide range of administrative experience in areas such as budgeting, the local economy, youth policy, and culture.
