View original imageGlobal company Alliable/Krauss Korea has recently launched its new product, the ‘RuMonte All-Stainless Premium Drain’, through Coupang and Naver Shopping, and has announced the background of the product’s development as well as specific future plans.
According to Yongwook Kwon, Team Leader at Alliable, this new product was planned based on feedback from consumers during the previous Krauss Sink home shopping sales, where customers expressed the need for an aesthetically pleasing and practical drain that matches high-end kitchen sinks. The design focused on enhancing the visual completeness not only of the upper part of the sink, which is visible, but also of the drain hidden beneath the sink cabinet, so that the entire drain assembly could serve as an integral part of kitchen interior design.
During its pre-release at the KINTEX exhibition in February, the product attracted attention from both homemakers and kitchen interior specialists as an alternative that could enhance the appearance of the space beneath the sink cabinet.
In terms of functionality and safety, the product adopts a scientifically designed ‘S’-shaped trap structure to block kitchen odors and prevent insects from entering. This design effectively blocks harmful substances from the sewer and ensures smooth drainage flow at the same time.
By fundamentally preventing the chronic issues of plastic drains—such as water stains, unpleasant odors, and concerns about bacterial growth—while also delivering semi-permanent durability, the product has significantly enhanced its competitiveness in the market. Once regarded as a mere consumable, the drain has now become an interior element that meets both hygiene and design needs in the kitchen.
In addition, a systematic after-sales service system is in operation for post-purchase management, and the company has established a product liability insurance policy to ensure quality assurance as a manufacturer.
Yongwook Kwon, Team Leader at Alliable, stated, “We aim to introduce a new paradigm to the stagnant kitchen drain market and deliver product value that enhances the finishing quality of interior design, even in areas not usually visible. Starting with this new product, we will continue our efforts to create kitchen environments that satisfy both hygiene and aesthetics.”
