Visits to 11 Major Sites Including the Elevator Industry and Advanced Industrial Complex

Lee Honggi, Governor of Geochang County, visited major local business sites in connection with his tour of towns and townships to check the progress of large-scale pending projects.
Geochang County announced that Governor Lee is visiting key business sites from July 7 to July 14, in line with his scheduled tour of towns and townships, to check the status of ongoing projects and listen to feedback on site.
This round of on-site visits has been organized to examine issues raised during the promotion of major projects and to review supplementary measures for each project.

View original imageOn July 7, the first day of the schedule, Governor Lee visited the Korea Elevator Safety Institute and the Elevator Talent Development Institute to hear about difficulties and suggestions related to the elevator industry, and checked the progress of the Elevator Second Test Tower construction project. He then visited the site of the Geochang Advanced General Industrial Complex development project to inspect the current status of construction and identify areas in need of improvement.
On-site, suggestions were also made to establish a dining area for trainees at the Elevator Talent Development Institute and to create an escalator safety experience center for children, the elderly, and other vulnerable groups.
Governor Lee stated that he would comprehensively review the feedback collected on site and develop strategies for project implementation.
The projects under review this time include a total of 11 major business sites: the Elevator Second Test Tower and Advanced General Industrial Complex development projects; the Changpowon Eco-Tourism and Culture Complex Project and Organic Complex Project; the Crematorium Construction Project and the Second Changpowon Sports Facility Project; the Forest Leisure Sports Park; the Gogyun Natural Disaster Risk Improvement Zone Maintenance Project and Anti-Aging Healing Land; and the Medical Welfare Town and Regional Vitality Town development projects.
Geochang County announced that, based on the feedback gathered from these on-site inspections, it plans to review supplementary measures in the project implementation process and come up with solutions to key pending issues.
