Superstar Ohtani appeared as the leadoff designated hitter in the home game against the Colorado Rockies at Uniqlo Field at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, on July 8 (Korean time). In his first at-bat in the first inning, he blasted a leadoff home run over the center field fence like a bullet. This marked his 20th home run of the season and the 300th of his MLB career.
