Yeongjong Island Coastal Circular Road in Incheon Completed at 53.7 km... Final Section Opens on the 13th
A 53.7-kilometer-long circular road that loops around the coastline of Yeongjong Island, home to Incheon International Airport, has been completed.
On July 8, Incheon City announced that the first phase of the access road to Midan City, which was the last unopened section of the Yeongjong Coastal Circular Road, will fully open at 9 a.m. on July 13.
This section is a 2.99-kilometer, two-lane road that connects Cheongna Sky Bridge to Midan City. It is equipped with both pedestrian walkways and bicycle paths to enhance user convenience.
In particular, with the opening of this section, accessibility from Midan City to Hansang Dream Island will be significantly improved. The city expects this will enhance transportation convenience throughout the Yeongjong International City area and contribute to revitalizing the Free Economic Zone.
