Seoul Foundation of Women and Family Launches "Closer to AI" Customized Education Program
AI Education Platform for Women Targets Employees
Enhancing AI Skills Through Practical Training
Customized Curriculum Based on Preliminary Needs Assessment
The Seoul Foundation of Women and Family announced on July 8 that it will operate a "Work+Life Artificial Intelligence (AI) Customized Education" program. This program is designed for employees and citizens who wish to effectively utilize AI in both their work and daily lives.
This training aims to cover everything from the planning of AI education to its practical application. The curriculum was developed based on the results of a survey conducted among participants of the "Seoul Career-Up Project," an employment support initiative for women in their 30s and 40s with career experience, who have successfully found employment.
The survey identified the biggest challenges as difficulties in balancing work and family (ranked first at 26.2%) and a lack of professional expertise in job functions (ranked second at 21.9%). In response, the foundation prepared the training to help participants improve work efficiency through AI and to conveniently manage their daily routines.
The program will be run as a "demand-customized" course, with content organized according to a preliminary needs assessment. Applicants are invited to respond to questions such as: ▲Challenges faced when using AI ▲Areas in which they would like to utilize AI in their work ▲Areas in which they would like to utilize AI in daily life. In the workplace category, high-demand topics include document and report writing and summarization, data organization, and planning work. In the daily life category, popular topics include household expense management, information search and summarization, and health management.
Participants will receive priority for follow-up advanced training sessions, as well as AI prompt materials that can be immediately applied to their work. This is intended to ensure that the training is not a one-off event, but can be continuously utilized in both work and daily life.
All sessions will be conducted online. Participants can choose between evening weekday classes and morning weekend classes to fit their personal schedules. The program will be held twice, on July 23 and July 25, and is open to employees who wish to improve efficiency in their work and daily lives. Applications can be submitted online until July 19, and further details are available on the event bulletin board on the Seoul Foundation of Women and Family website.
