Located in Jeonbuk Innovation City, KB Financial Town was established to build an asset management-focused financial ecosystem centered around the National Pension Service and to support the growth of young people, small and medium-sized enterprises, and innovative companies. Major affiliates such as KB Kookmin Bank, KB Securities, KB Insurance, and KB Asset Management have moved in and will conduct asset management work in conjunction with the National Pension Service. About 350 KB Financial employees, including more than 150 local hires, are expected to be stationed at the site.
KB Financial Group will operate the KB Asset Management Jeonju office, the KB Securities Jeonju CIB Center, a combined bank and securities branch, the KB Golden Life Center offering specialized counseling for seniors, the KB Hope Finance Center supporting debt adjustment and the recovery of financially vulnerable groups, and an AI-based non-face-to-face asset management consultation center. The group also plans to expand collaboration and investment linkages among its affiliates through the 'KB Innovation HUB', a startup fostering platform.
