This initiative is part of the "Development of Online Platform Technology for AI-Based Media Art," a project led by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency. In collaboration with the media art company Easywith, the contest aims to discover traditional art content and nurture emerging creators.

The contest theme is media art that reimagines Korean painting and the unique stories within it through AI. Anyone interested in traditional art may participate either individually or as a team of up to five members. Participants are required to submit a key visual of their work, a production plan, and a storyboard by August 14.

Finalists will receive credits for "Widai," an AI platform specializing in traditional art, as well as expert mentoring. Outstanding works will be screened on CGV-operated media such as K-pop LIVE in Samseong-dong, and will also be showcased on the LED.ART and aiwith.art platforms.

Lee Kitaek, Head of CGV's DX Business Team, stated, "AI is a creative tool that expands the possibilities for new expressions of traditional art," adding, "We hope that content combining AI and traditional art will be utilized across a variety of media platforms."
