In October of last year, Hanjin Group marked its 80th anniversary by unveiling a new CI and campaign video. The video visualized the group's 80-year history of relentless progress toward the future, using the image of a bead continuously moving forward—symbolizing the group's journey since its beginnings as Hanjin Trading Company in 1945.
Furthermore, symbols representing logistics such as airplanes, trucks, and ships, as well as various elements like hotels and universities, were arranged along the bead's path in the video to heighten viewer engagement. The company anthem was used as background music to highlight the group’s business areas and activities.
The campaign was praised for visualizing the company's history and future, its diverse business sectors, Hanjin Group's role and value in connecting the world through logistics, and the unveiling of the new CI—all presented through an innovative and engaging approach.
Notably, the Hanjin Group campaign video was the only Korean entry to be selected as a winner in the film category at this year's New York Festivals, adding further significance to the achievement.
