CELAB and DataSolution Sign 750 Billion Won AI Data Center Supply Contract with Samsung SDS
KOSDAQ-listed companies CELAB and DataSolution have signed supply contracts with Samsung SDS for the construction of an AI data center project totaling 750 billion won.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service's Electronic Disclosure System on July 8, DataSolution announced that it had signed a supply contract with Samsung SDS worth 438.1 billion won for a project to strengthen the AI computing resource infrastructure. The contract covers not only GPU servers but also the supply of hardware, software, and services for building AI infrastructure.
This amount is equivalent to 422.04% of DataSolution's sales revenue from the previous year. The contract period runs from today until December 31, 2031. Under the contract terms, 50% of the total project amount will be paid as an advance payment, with the remaining 50% to be paid later.
DataSolution explained that this contract is part of a project overseen by the National IT Industry Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Science and ICT, and involves supplying goods to the agency through its CSP (Cloud Service Provider) partner, Samsung SDS.
DataSolution plans to purchase overseas products, rather than products of its own manufacture, and install and sell them to Samsung SDS. Therefore, the sales revenue recognized in the financial statements is expected to be on a net basis, excluding the purchase cost from the total contract amount.
On the same day, CELAB also announced that it had signed a supply contract with Samsung SDS worth 315.1 billion won for a project to strengthen the AI computing resource infrastructure. This amount is equivalent to 3,067.74% of CELAB's total sales from the previous year. The contract period is the same as that of DataSolution, with 50% paid as an advance, 30% as a mid-term payment, and 20% as the balance payment.
This project is interpreted as part of the government's "2026 AI Computing Resource Infrastructure Enhancement Project." In March this year, the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) held a briefing session for the "2026 AI Computing Resource Infrastructure Enhancement Project" and announced plans to secure approximately 15,000 of the latest GPUs this year.

The project has a budget of approximately 2.0805 trillion won, with a focus on purchasing related equipment such as GPU servers, racks, cooling devices, storage, and network systems. The GPU infrastructure will be built and service will begin this year, with full completion scheduled by 2027. Afterward, resource allocation and operation for industry, academia, research institutes, and national projects will continue until the end of the business agreement on December 31, 2031.
