NHN announced on July 7 that it held 'Agentic Day' at its Pangyo headquarters in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, on July 2, for employees from the headquarters, NHN Cloud, and NHNDooray.

Agentic Day is an event where NHN members share their expertise and outcomes in utilizing AI assistants (agents) to enhance efficiency in their respective work and business areas. More than 600 employees attended the event.

Cheolwoong Yang, who was recently appointed as head of NHN's technology division and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), emphasized during his keynote speech that data and security are the most crucial elements when leveraging AI agents to accelerate work. He stated, "An environment where AI safely connects all in-house data and knowledge, and the security that supports this, are essential prerequisites for advancing to the next stage."

He added, "NHN aims to enhance security from the development stage by leveraging AI as a tool, and will continue to create and provide safer products and services to customers," outlining the company's AX direction.

This event was divided into three sections: presentations, demo booths, and an AI tutorial zone. During the presentation session, Youngil Cho, Head of AI Development Center at NHN Cloud, spoke on "Harness Creation for Development Team Leaders," sharing methods for automating and standardizing security vulnerability checks at the organizational level using AI.

The demo booths featured 15 stations where visitors could experience demos of AI agent-based programs developed by each team and interact with the developers. In the AI tutorial zone, employees participated in hands-on programs utilizing tools developed by each team.

Meanwhile, on July 1, NHN introduced Anthropic's Claude company-wide to accelerate its AX efforts. By expanding AI services, previously available mainly to development teams, to all employees, the company aims to boost AI-based productivity across all job functions.
