Nationally Accredited 'Smart Maritime Logistics Manager' Certification... Applications Open from July 8
A Total of Five Private Certification Exams Held Since 2022
Promoted to 'Nationally Accredited Private Qualification' in December 2024
Applications for the 'Smart Maritime Logistics Manager' certification exam, designed to nurture experts who will drive changes in the logistics environment by integrating information and communication technologies such as big data, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things into the maritime logistics sector, will open on July 8.
The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and Ulsan Port Authority announced on July 7 that applications for the second regular Smart Maritime Logistics Manager certification exam will be accepted from July 8 to July 14.
Since 2022, a total of five private registration certification exams for Smart Maritime Logistics Manager have been conducted. After being promoted to a nationally accredited private qualification in December 2024, the first regular certification exam in 2025 produced 559 successful candidates.
This certification exam is the second regular test to be held since the qualification was promoted to a national accreditation. The exam is scheduled to take place on August 8 in five metropolitan cities: Seoul, Busan, Gwangju, Daejeon, and Ulsan.
This year, an 'Introduction to AI Technology' course has been newly added as a subtopic to the core subject of information and communication technology (ICT) element technologies. The official standard textbook for this exam can be downloaded as a PDF file from the certification’s official website.
