Jeju Welcomes Half-Day Delivery with 'Olleh Dream'... CJ Olive Young Establishes Logistics Center
New Dedicated 'Jeju Olleh Dream' Page Added to Mobile App
Average Delivery Time Reduced from Three Days to Half a Day
CJ Olive Young is strengthening its logistics infrastructure in Jeju as part of its investment outside the Seoul metropolitan area.
On July 6, CJ Olive Young announced the opening of 'MFC Jeju,' an urban-style logistics center (Micro Fulfillment Center, hereafter MFC) with a size of 515 pyeong (1,702 square meters) in Aewol-eup, Jeju. With this, the company will expand the coverage area of its same-day delivery service, 'Olleh Dream.'
Through the operation of MFC Jeju, Olive Young is now able to fulfill 90% of online orders in the Jeju region using the Olleh Dream service. Previously, only nearby areas could receive same-day delivery by utilizing offline store infrastructure, but now, the service will cover most parts of Jeju. As inventory can now be stored at the MFC, the number of products handled has also been diversified to 11,000 types.
As a result, Jeju residents will now face fewer time and cost burdens when shopping for K-beauty products. Previously, standard delivery in Jeju took more than three days on average, and an additional shipping fee of 2,500 won for remote locations was charged regardless of the minimum order amount. Going forward, if customers place their Olleh Dream orders before 4 p.m., they can receive their products before midnight on the same day without an extra remote area fee.
Olive Young has aggressively invested in Jeju’s logistics infrastructure to provide the same shopping convenience nationwide. 'Olleh Dream,' which Olive Young introduced as an industry first in 2018, completed nearly 20 million deliveries nationwide last year, establishing itself as a mainstream shopping infrastructure. In contrast, due to the limitations of the logistics network, the annual number of Olleh Dream orders in Jeju had remained at around 150,000 despite high demand.
Olive Young has also launched a new 'Jeju Olleh Dream' tab within its mobile app to enhance convenience for Jeju residents. Through this tab, customers can easily browse products eligible for Olleh Dream same-day delivery and Jeju’s most popular items. To celebrate the launch of the 'Jeju Olleh Dream' tab, Olive Young is offering a 3,000 won discount coupon for Olleh Dream products, which can be used for purchases of 15,000 won or more.
Looking ahead, Olive Young plans to continuously upgrade its logistics infrastructure so that Olleh Dream service will be available throughout Jeju in line with increasing shipping volume, and will expand the number of products handled to 16,000 types. In addition, the company intends to maintain steady investment in retail to boost the regional economy, including the opening of specialized stores and supporting tourism development.
An Olive Young representative stated, "We decided to invest in MFC Jeju in order to provide Jeju residents with a fully satisfactory shopping experience and same-day delivery service," adding, "We will continue to cooperate with local communities and invest in infrastructure improvements and non-metropolitan areas."

Since launching the Olleh Dream service in 2018, Olive Young decided to adopt urban-style logistics centers (MFCs) in 2021 to respond to the surge in online orders during the pandemic and to improve the service environment of its offline stores. MFCs, which are logistics facilities located in urban areas, enable prompt delivery of products ordered via the online mall to nearby customers. Starting with the first MFC in Gangnam, Seoul, Olive Young is operating 25 such centers nationwide as of July 2026, including locations in Jeju, Busan, Gwangju, Gyeongju, Daejeon, and Jeonju.
