Lotte Tour Development Becomes First in Travel Service Industry Inducted into Korea Service Awards "Hall of Fame"
Entering the Hall of Fame After 16 Grand Prizes
CEO Hyun Baek: "We Will Continue to Deliver Differentiated Customer Experiences"
Lotte Tour Development announced on July 6 that it has been inducted into the "Hall of Fame" at the 2026 Korea Service Awards ceremony, becoming the first company in the travel service industry to receive this honor.
The Korea Service Awards, organized by the Korean Standards Association (KSA), is a service quality evaluation system that applies the assessment criteria of the U.S. Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award to the domestic service industry. Each year, award-winning companies are selected through a comprehensive evaluation of the CEO's leadership, corporate social responsibility, mid- to long-term strategies, and management performance, followed by an on-site review and employee satisfaction survey.

Lotte Tour Development first won the Grand Prize in the travel service category in 2003 and has since received the Grand Prize a total of 16 times. Since its founding in 1971, the company was the first in the industry to establish a customer satisfaction team, which continues to operate as an organization directly under the CEO. Lotte Tour Development also conducts real-time mobile customer satisfaction surveys for all customers using its travel products and actively listens to feedback. Last year, CEO Hyun Baek was recognized for his successful management of Lotte Tour's premium brand "HIGH&" and received the Top Executive Award.
CEO Hyun Baek commented, "Being inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Korea Service Awards is more than just winning a prize; it is recognition of the very path Lotte Tour Development has taken. For more than half a century, we have listened to our customers' voices, sometimes challenged industry conventions, and pioneered new paths. We will continue to stand by our customers with innovative services and differentiated travel experiences."
