Hyundai Motor Company will serve as the official sponsor of the 18th DMZ International Documentary Film Festival and will promote its vision for eco-friendly hydrogen mobility.

View original imageOn July 6, at the Hyundai Motor Group Yangjae headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, Hyundai Motor signed a sponsorship agreement for the 18th DMZ International Documentary Film Festival. The event was attended by key officials, including Shin Seung-kyu, Executive Vice President of Energy & Hydrogen Policy at Hyundai Motor Group, and Oh Dong-jin, Executive Director of the film festival.
Launched in 2009, the DMZ International Documentary Film Festival is an international documentary film festival and an environmental and cultural arts event that explores themes such as peace and ecology, set against the backdrop of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). This year's festival will be held from September 10 to 16 in the areas of Goyang Special City and Paju.
During the festival, Hyundai Motor will provide a total of eight hydrogen electric vehicles for VIP and key personnel protocol, as well as transportation for attendees. Five units of the hydrogen electric SUV "The All-New NEXO" will be operated throughout the event, and three large hydrogen electric buses "Universe FCEV" will be additionally deployed for the opening ceremony, allowing participants to directly experience eco-friendly mobility.
In addition, Hyundai Motor Group will showcase a brand film conveying the vision of "HTWO," its hydrogen brand and business platform, along with a NEXO commercial video at the festival venue.
