Samsung Card Launches 'iD SELECT UP Card' Offering Customizable Healthcare and Daily Living Benefits
On July 6, Samsung Card announced the launch of its "Samsung iD SELECT UP Card," which provides tailored benefits based on consumer spending patterns, such as in the healthcare and daily living sectors.
This card features the "SELECT Service," a specialized benefit of Samsung Card's iD SELECT lineup, allowing cardholders to choose the benefits they want. When applying for the card, customers can select either a 20% discount on medical services or a 10% discount on daily living expenses. Cardholders can also change their selected benefit every month while using the card.
If the medical services discount is chosen, cardholders can receive a 20% discount—up to a maximum of 15,000 won—on amounts spent at hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, long-term care hospitals, and veterinary clinics, depending on the previous month's spending. If the daily living discount is selected, cardholders can receive a 10% discount—up to a maximum of 15,000 won—on insurance, fuel, and mobile communication services, also depending on the previous month's spending.
Details on how to use the "SELECT Service," participating merchants, and other information can be found on the Samsung Card website and the Monimo App. The annual fee is 18,000 won for both domestic-only and international (VISA) cards.
