ALT Executives Purchase Company Shares, Demonstrating Commitment to Responsible Management
Executives at ALT, a company specializing in post-processing semiconductor testing for non-memory chips, have successively purchased shares in their own company.
On July 6, ALT announced that Chairman Byungtae Chun recently acquired 9,899 shares of the company, amounting to approximately 100 million won. The company stated, “This purchase was made to demonstrate the management’s judgment regarding the company’s future growth potential and its commitment to responsible management.”
President Euncheol Lee additionally acquired 3,000 common shares through on-market purchases from June 17 to 19. As a result, President Lee’s total shareholding increased from 3,000 shares to 6,000 shares.
ALT is expanding investment in testing equipment to respond to high-value semiconductor markets such as artificial intelligence (AI), automotive semiconductors, and high-performance memory controllers. As demand for post-processing semiconductor testing becomes more sophisticated, the company is strengthening its production base and customer response capabilities.
Until last year, the industry downturn and cost pressures impacted performance. However, this year, ALT is working to improve profitability by recovering test demand from major clients and increasing the proportion of high-value products.
