As zero-additive products that minimize the use of colorants and synthetic fragrances while highlighting the inherent value of raw ingredients are gaining popularity, Korea Ginseng Corporation (KGC) is introducing a new puree made exclusively from premium grade A large blueberries.
On July 6, Korea Ginseng Corporation announced the launch of the "Good Base Organic Blueberry Puree," which contains no colorants, synthetic fragrances, water, or sugar.
The Good Base Organic Blueberry Puree is made by directly importing USDA-certified grade A organic blueberries from the United States in their original form, and then grinding the whole fruit—including skin, flesh, and seeds—at a domestic HACCP-certified manufacturing facility. By minimizing heat treatment and unnecessary processing, the puree preserves the natural nutrition and flavor of blueberries, retaining even the nutrients found in the skin and seeds.

Strict quality standards were applied in selecting ingredients. Only organic blueberries that were cultivated, harvested, and frozen under direct management at blueberry farms in the United States, with a sugar content of 10 Brix or higher and grade A classification, were carefully chosen. In particular, only large blueberries, averaging 1.6g per berry and featuring a firm texture and sizable flesh, were used to precisely meet the demand for premium puree products.
