Aribio Group Denies Rumors of Ties with Gwangjin Sileop and Others... Focused on Strengthening Cooperation Among Three Affiliates
On July 6, Aribio Group stated that the rumors regarding mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and equity relationships with certain companies, including Gwangjin Sileop, are not true. The company explained that, recently, the spread of these rumors has led to ongoing inquiries from shareholders and the media.
In response, the company stated, "The market rumors linking these companies with Aribio Group are nothing more than unfounded speculation in which the group is neither involved nor able to verify," adding, "Unconfirmed and speculative information can cause confusion for shareholders and investors, and may distort the market's assessment of the company’s growth strategy and corporate value."
The company continued, "Any important management matters related to the group will be transparently disclosed and announced in accordance with relevant laws and procedures," and emphasized, "We urge particular caution against making investment decisions based on unofficial rumors or speculative information."
Additionally, the company stated, "If the dissemination of false information, the spread of malicious rumors, or the distortion of facts continues, we will consider taking necessary actions and respond strictly to protect shareholders and the market."
Aribio Group also announced that, regardless of these rumors, it is strengthening its cooperation structure centered on Aribio Holdings, Aribio, and Aribio Lab. The group aims to enhance synergies by combining Aribio’s new drug development capabilities, Aribio Lab’s bio and healthcare platform strengths, and Aribio Holdings’ business foundation and execution capabilities.
In particular, the group plans to continue expanding strategic equity relationships and business connections among the three affiliated companies, in a way that contributes to enhancing both corporate value and shareholder value.
