[Weather] Nationwide Cloudy with Rain... Sweltering Heat with Feels-Like Temperatures Above 31°C
On Monday, July 6, the entire country is expected to be mostly cloudy with rain.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the expected precipitation for the day is as follows: 20 to 60 mm in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi; 10 to 40 mm in the five West Sea Islands; 20 to 60 mm in the inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon; 5 to 20 mm along the eastern coast of Gangwon; 20 to 60 mm in Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, Chungbuk, Gwangju, Jeonnam, and Jeonbuk; and 5 to 50 mm in inland areas of Gyeongnam, as well as in Daegu and Gyeongbuk. In some regions, heavy rain of around 20 mm per hour is expected.

In many inland areas across the nation, daytime highs will exceed 30 degrees Celsius, and due to high humidity, the maximum perceived temperature will rise to around 31 degrees Celsius, making it feel quite hot.
The forecasted daytime highs for major cities are as follows: Seoul at 29 degrees Celsius, Incheon at 28 degrees, Chuncheon at 30 degrees, Gangneung at 28 degrees, Daejeon at 29 degrees, Daegu at 32 degrees, Jeonju at 29 degrees, Gwangju at 30 degrees, Busan at 28 degrees, and Jeju at 31 degrees.
