LG Electronics Opens Experiential Showroom for Built-in Appliance Brand SKS in the US
Opened the 'SKS Technequerian Center' in Boston
in Collaboration with Local Appliance Distributor
LG Electronics has opened an experiential showroom for its premium built-in appliance brand, ‘SKS,’ in Boston, USA, aiming to expand its local customer touchpoints.
LG Electronics announced on July 5 that it recently collaborated with Yale Appliance, a premium home appliance distributor in the northeastern United States, to open the ‘SKS Technician Center,’ an experiential showroom in Boston, Massachusetts.
This is the fourth such showroom, following locations in Napa Valley, California (West), New Jersey (East), and Chicago (Midwest). Boston is a leading industrial city on the East Coast of the United States, known for its advanced industries in artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, and biotechnology. LG Electronics expects the SKS Technician Center not only to introduce the value of ultra-premium built-in appliances to customers, but also to serve as a hub for business-to-business (B2B) clients.
The SKS Technician Center spans a total of 185 square meters and provides a space where industry professionals such as builders and designers, as well as general customers, can experience ultra-premium built-in appliances firsthand. The showroom is designed to resemble an upscale residential space, rather than a typical sales-oriented display area. It was created in partnership with various companies, including custom kitchen furniture maker Wegner Cabinetry, interior design company LX Hausys, and kitchen interior firm Newport Brass.
Customers can enjoy real-time cooking demonstrations and experience SKS’s unique built-in designs and performance. In addition, the showroom features a variety of display spaces simulating different kitchen environments and touchscreen-based content, allowing visitors to see how SKS’s premium built-in appliances blend seamlessly with modern living spaces.
Products on display include: the ‘Pro Range’ combining gas, induction, and sous-vide functions in a single product; the ‘Induction Pro Range’ equipped with steam, convection, and air fryer features; the ‘French Door Refrigerator’ with dual compressors; and the ‘Built-in Wine Cellar’ with three temperature settings.
