Huino's AI CDSS 'Vital Picasso' Receives Medical Device Manufacturing Certification from Ministry of Food and Drug Safety
Huino's artificial intelligence (AI)-based Clinical Decision Support System (CDSS), ‘Vital Picasso’, has received medical device manufacturing certification from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
According to Huino on July 3, Vital Picasso is a software (S/W) used to predict the risk of cardiac arrest in adult patients aged 19 and over who are admitted to general wards. It analyzes collected vital sign data using an AI algorithm and provides a risk prediction score for cardiac arrest within 24 hours.
Huino plans to expedite the clinical introduction of Vital Picasso based on this manufacturing certification from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and its status as an innovative medical device. In particular, it aims to strengthen its hospital-centered digital healthcare portfolio by linking with existing commercialized products such as the long-term electrocardiogram analysis solution ‘MemoCare’ and the real-time in-hospital patient monitoring solution ‘MemoQ’.
