The program was designed to discover and support promising drivers with less than five years of experience participating in the PPIHC, who are based in Colorado.
Four sponsored drivers—Matus Huska, Earl O'Malley, Ernie Ramirez, and Ben Ryan—successfully completed the challenging 19.99-kilometer course without incident. In addition, two Colorado-based father-and-son drivers, who have been sponsored by Kumho Tire since last year, also finished the race, marking a significant achievement with all six Kumho Tire-sponsored drivers completing the event.
All vehicles sponsored by Kumho Tire were equipped with the ultra-high-performance tire "Ecsta V730." As Kumho Tire's flagship high-performance tire, the Ecsta V730 was developed based on the company's technological expertise accumulated from various domestic and international motorsports competitions. Featuring an ultra-high-performance compound and a robust block design, it delivers excellent grip and stable handling even under high-speed driving conditions. The tire demonstrated reliable performance in the extreme driving environment of the PPIHC, characterized by steep elevation changes and a series of 156 consecutive corners, thereby supporting the sponsored drivers in successfully finishing the race.
