SKT Publishes First Information Security White Paper: "We Will Build a Trustworthy Security System"
Revealing the Roadmap for Security Systems
SK Telecom announced on July 1 that it has published the "Information Security White Paper 2025" and will release its information security and personal data protection activities on its official website.
This white paper is the first official report summarizing the key activities and achievements that SK Telecom has pursued since last year, as the company reassessed its information security system company-wide to prevent recurrence and restore trust.
The white paper consists of three main parts: ▲Information Security Governance, ▲Information Security Architecture and Technology, and ▲Personal Data Protection. It provides a comprehensive overview of the company's operational direction across all areas of information security and privacy.
In addition, the white paper explains information security as a "company-wide execution framework" and shares SK Telecom's perspective on how companies should establish standards and systems to respond, amid the expanding responsibilities and scope of security in the context of changes brought by AI, cloud, and supply chain environments.
SK Telecom stated that it plans to use the publication of this white paper as an opportunity to more actively share its information security activities with stakeholders and to continuously improve protection levels in ways that customers can experience firsthand.
