Gyeonggi-do Fire Academy Produces 38 Fire Investigators
On June 30, the Gyeonggi-do Fire Academy held the graduation ceremony for the 28th Fire Investigator Training Course, producing 38 professionals who will lead the future of fire investigation.
With the recent increase in advanced industrial facilities such as data centers and the expansion of energy use, there has been a rise in insurance disputes and civil and criminal lawsuits related to the causes of fires. As a result, the importance of accurate and reliable fire investigation has grown even greater.
In response, from May 6 to June 30, Gyeonggi-do Fire Academy conducted an eight-week program for 38 participants, including 34 firefighters from Gyeonggi-do and 4 firefighters from Changwon Special City. The course invited domestic fire investigation experts to provide both theoretical and practical training in fire engineering, electrical, chemical, and automotive fires, as well as fire simulation (FDS).
