Companies, Researchers, and Investors Gather as InterBiz Bio Forum Opens
An Open Innovation Platform for Commercializing National R&D Outcomes
A private sector-led, large-scale technology marketplace aimed at connecting companies, researchers, and investors to revitalize the bio-industry ecosystem is set to open.
The Ministry of Science and ICT announced on July 1 that the 24th InterBiz Bio Partnering & Investment Forum 2026 will be held from July 1 to July 3 at Phoenix Island in Jeju.
Having continued for 24 years since 2002, the forum is organized by the InterBiz Bio Partnering & Investment Forum Organizing Committee, which consists of 16 domestic industry-academic-research institutions including the Korea Drug Research Association. This year, over 2,100 participants from more than 630 organizations in the biohealth sector will attend to share promising technologies and pipelines and discuss technology transfer and collaboration strategies.
Through pre-event online matching, participants will have the opportunity to engage in one-on-one partnering meetings, investment consultations, technology consulting, and networking programs focused on promising technologies, exploring possibilities for commercialization.
