Man in His 30s Arrested for Installing Hidden Camera in Bathhouse Changing Room
A man in his 30s has been apprehended and is under investigation after installing a mobile phone in a bathhouse changing room.
On June 30, the Busan Gijang Police Station announced that it had apprehended and referred to the prosecution without detention an employee of the bathhouse, identified as Mr. A, on suspicion of attempting illegal filming by installing a mobile phone in the changing room, in violation of the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment, etc. of Sexual Crimes.
According to the police, Mr. A is suspected of installing a mobile phone in the changing room of a bathhouse located in Ilgwang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan, at around 2:21 a.m. on May 26.
The police launched an investigation and arrested Mr. A after receiving a report stating, "A mobile phone was found recording video behind a basket in the changing room."

The police questioned Mr. A about the circumstances of the incident and then referred him to the prosecution without detention. A police official stated, "Due to the nature of the case, it is difficult to disclose detailed information about the investigation."
