LG Electronics Launches Recruitment for First Cohort of Practical Training Program 'Let's Grow with LG Electronics' for Job Seekers
Open to Ages 15 to 34, Applications Accepted Until July 13
Program Focused on Non-Capital Regions Including Busan, Daegu, and Daejeon
Comprehensive Job Support Program Package Provided
LG Electronics is launching comprehensive support to help young job seekers grow into future industry leaders in fields such as smart factories, artificial intelligence transformation (AX), and digital marketing.
On June 29, LG Electronics announced the launch of a new practical training program, "Let's Grow with LG Electronics," and the start of recruitment for the first cohort of trainees.
This program is part of the "K-New Deal Academy," a youth vocational training initiative jointly led by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in partnership with domestic companies. It aims to strengthen job competency and career planning for young people through company-led practical education and various on-site programs. To expand educational opportunities for regional youth, the program will be operated in non-capital regions such as Busan, Daegu, and Daejeon, and will recruit young people who can participate in these areas.
The training program consists of three tracks: ▲Smart Factory ▲AX ▲Digital Marketing. The Smart Factory track covers concepts such as smart factories, manufacturing processes, automation systems, equipment operation, and utilization of production data, focusing on building understanding of key roles in manufacturing sites. The AX track offers hands-on experience with LG Electronics' work processes by defining problems based on data and solving them using AI. The Digital Marketing track provides practical education centered on content planning, SNS channel management, online advertising execution, and performance analysis, all based on data-driven marketing skills.
The application period runs until July 13, and final participants will be selected through a document screening and interviews. Any young job seeker aged 15 to 34 is eligible to apply.
The final selected first cohort will receive training over 11 weeks starting in August, with sessions held in Daegu, Daejeon, and Busan. The program includes both a commuter format at each regional training center and a residential format at LG Electronics Learning Center in LG Digital Park, located in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, allowing trainees to directly experience LG Electronics' corporate culture and work style. The second cohort is scheduled to begin training in November.
Participants can join the program free of charge, and LG Electronics plans to support them in connecting their training experience to employment competitiveness through practical projects, job preparation programs, and portfolio-building support.
