First-Come, First-Served Registration Opens July 6
Seongdong-gu in Seoul will begin operating the third quarter regular courses at the Lifelong Learning Center from July 20, reflecting resident demand and the latest learning trends. Notably, this quarter features a strengthened lineup of courses related to generative artificial intelligence (AI).

View original imageSeongdong-gu has organized third quarter courses into five categories—university partnerships, digital, humanities and liberal arts, culture and arts, and lifestyle and health—for a total of 17 programs, accommodating 645 participants. Among these, the digital field includes a newly established course called "Building Your Reliable AI Work Assistant (Chatbot)" to enhance work productivity.
Previously, in the second quarter, a total of 662 people participated in 18 practical and humanities courses, including those on AI, with many classes filling up early and receiving enthusiastic responses. In addition, humanities and practical courses such as "Origins of Western Culture: The World of Homer" and "Practical Guide to Investing in the Korean Stock Market" will also be offered.

The courses will be held in person at the Seongdong-gu Lifelong Learning Center from July 20 to August 31, and tuition is free (additional material fees may apply). Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the district office website starting at 9:00 a.m. on July 6.
