Airrain Participates in Gas Korea 2026... Showcases Modules and Systems Utilizing Gas Separation Membranes
Airrain, a company specializing in gas separation membrane solutions, announced on June 26 that it participated in the Seoul International Gas & Hydrogen Industry Exhibition (hereafter referred to as Gas Korea 2026), which was held at the aT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seoul.
Gas Korea 2026 is a specialized exhibition in the gas and hydrogen sectors, organized by The Korea Gas Times and sponsored by 18 organizations and institutions, including the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Environment. Marking its 15th edition this year, the event featured 81 companies introducing new technologies and products in the domestic and international gas and hydrogen industries.
At the exhibition, Airrain showcased modules and systems utilizing gas separation membrane technology. The company introduced a biogas upgrading module designed to enhance the commercial viability of biogas. By supplying high-purity methanol through city gas pipelines via biogas upgrading, Airrain presented solutions for greenhouse gas reduction and securing carbon emission rights.
The company also unveiled biohydrogen production technology utilizing high-purity methanol produced through upgrading, which is relevant to the hydrogen economy. Airrain proposed using previously unused biogas as a resource for hydrogen production. The company is also planning to commercialize technology for capturing carbon dioxide generated during hydrogen production. Additionally, Airrain demonstrated that the supply of nitrogen required for hydrogen charging infrastructure can be met using its nitrogen generators based on gas separation membranes, as evidenced by its supply record.
