View original imageAccording to the financial sector on June 28, SC First Bank hosted the "2026 Master Class: Beginning of Art Collecting" on the 18th at the Seoul Auction Gangnam Center in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, inviting private banking clients and prospective clients who have deposited assets exceeding 1 billion KRW.
This program was organized in collaboration with Seoul Auction, seamlessly combining professional art lectures with a private docent tour. During the main session, Seoul Auction’s chief auctioneer served as the speaker, sharing in-depth insights on recent trends in the art market, the auction process, and methods for appreciating artwork. The subsequent private docent tour provided a unique experience, allowing participants to view works by masters representing modern and contemporary Korean art as well as pieces by globally renowned contemporary artists, all in one place.
Additionally, SC First Bank is currently recruiting participants for the "2026 Global Future Leader Program (GFLP)"—a program aimed at nurturing future leaders. The GFLP, which will be held at SC First Bank’s headquarters from July 31 to August 2, is themed "Next Generation" and features mentoring by current students from the prestigious UK universities Oxford and Cambridge. The program is designed to broaden the thinking and problem-solving skills of middle and high school students. Participating students can select a customized track based on their aptitude: ▲Natural Sciences, Engineering & Medicine ▲Social Sciences ▲Humanities, and will complete a specialized curriculum in their chosen field.
The GFLP is recruiting a total of 40 participants, targeting children of clients with deposits of at least 500 million KRW at SC First Bank, and applications are open until the 30th. Notably, some participants for this camp will be selected through a lottery conducted via the SC First Bank mobile banking app, attracting significant interest from clients.
