This initiative is being carried out after being selected in a public contest by Korea Airports Corporation, and will be offered to a total of 250 students, from 5th grade in elementary school to 1st grade in high school. The program is designed so participants can experience the entire media field, from basic artificial intelligence (AI) education, to tours of broadcasting stations, special lectures by professionals, and practical content production training.

The program will run four times during the summer vacation period, from July 27 to August 7. It includes AI-based content education, a tour of the Mokdong SBS broadcasting station, a career concert with active producers and broadcasters, and hands-on AI content production training. Notably, participants who complete the entire program will receive a certificate of completion and souvenirs, and the content they produce will be shared and awarded to further promote their achievements.

Recruitment will be divided into 50 participants for the integrated course and 200 for single-session participation, with selection made by computerized lottery after online registration. Applications can be submitted via Google Forms, and for more information, applicants can contact the Public Relations Division of Yangcheon District Office at 02-2620-3168 or 3154.

Yangcheon District Mayor Lee Kijae stated, “As we operate the Yangcheon Public Relations Academy for the first time this year, I hope it will be a meaningful opportunity for youths in airport noise-affected areas to directly experience the latest AI media trends and to develop their dreams more concretely.”
