Autonomous Drone Company NearsLab Begins KOSDAQ Listing Process
Submission of Securities Registration Statement
On June 26, NearsLab, an autonomous flight drone company, announced that it has submitted its securities registration statement to the Financial Services Commission, thus officially beginning the process for listing on the KOSDAQ market.
For this IPO, NearsLab plans to offer 910,000 shares. The desired price range is between 30,000 won and 41,200 won per share, with the total expected offering amounting to approximately 27.3 billion to 37.5 billion won. The institutional demand forecast will take place from July 27 to 31, and the public subscription is scheduled for August 5 and 6. Samsung Securities is acting as the lead underwriter, and NearsLab aims to list on the KOSDAQ market within this year.
NearsLab is a 'physical AI drone' company that integrates artificial intelligence (AI) technology into drones to accomplish complex tasks in the physical world. Its competitive edge lies in its technology, which enables drones to autonomously recognize and assess their environment and carry out missions automatically without a pilot.
Based on this technology, NearsLab is achieving visible results in the global defense market with its counter-drone hard-kill solution 'KAiDEN' and its swarm strike drone 'XAiDEN.' NearsLab explained that since entering the defense industry, it has entered a full-fledged revenue growth phase. According to the securities registration statement, the current order backlog stands at approximately 20.9 billion won, and the company projects sales of about 27 billion won this year based on this backlog.
