Achieving Top Ratings in Domestic and Global ESG Assessments
NC announced on the 25th that it has published its sustainability report, the "Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Playbook 2025."
NC was the first in the Korean gaming industry to release a sustainability report in 2021 and has continued to do so for six consecutive years. This report outlines the meaning embedded in the company’s mission, the direction of its growth, and real-world examples of sustainable management aligned with key business strategies. The report enhances the coherence of its disclosures by adhering to the latest global ESG reporting standards and has secured the reliability of its public data through third-party verification.
Specifically, it introduces major activities aimed at strengthening competitiveness across all aspects of game development and service operations. NC emphasized that it has improved game completeness through expanded user communication, global testing, and quality assurance processes, and has enhanced the user experience by improving game accessibility and establishing a global-level personal data protection system.
The report also details key initiatives implemented in line with the latest global ESG standards, including climate change response, human resources management, responsible technology, corporate governance, and business ethics. Based on these efforts, NC has achieved notable results in major domestic and international ESG evaluations. The company earned the highest rating of AAA in the "MSCI 2026 ESG Assessment" and, uniquely among Korean gaming companies, has been included in the "2026 DJBIC Asia Pacific Index" for three consecutive years. In the "Korea ESG Standards Institute 2025 ESG Evaluation," NC has maintained a comprehensive A grade for five consecutive years.
