Seoul Bar Association and CHA Hospital Sign MOU to Address Low Birth Rate Issue
Collaboration to Support Members Facing Infertility
Benefits Including Infertility Treatment to Be Provided Starting in July
The Seoul Bar Association has joined forces with CHA Hospital to address the low birth rate issue and to support member welfare.
The Seoul Bar Association announced on the 25th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with CHA Hospital on June 18 at the Magok CHA Hospital Fertility Center to tackle the low birth rate problem. This agreement was pursued to support work-life balance and to provide practical assistance to members experiencing difficulties due to infertility.
The signing ceremony was attended by Soonyeol Cho, President of the Seoul Bar Association; Giwon Kim, Senior Vice President; Sujin Kim, Vice President; Seyul Han, Director of the Magok CHA Hospital Fertility Center; Sechan Shin, Executive Director of Fertility Administration at CHA Hospital; and Woonpyo Yeo, Director of Administrative Management at CHA Hospital. Both sides agreed to collaborate to improve access to infertility treatment for Seoul Bar Association members and to support the formation of healthy families.
The CHA Hospital Fertility Center operates seven centers nationwide, including Seoul Station, Gangnam, Bundang, and Magok. Going forward, members of the Seoul Bar Association will be able to access medical services such as infertility treatment, fertility assessments, and egg freezing support near their places of residence and work. The specific benefits under the agreement will be provided from July, following the relevant procedures.

A representative of the Seoul Bar Association stated, "We hope this agreement will help members form healthy families and contribute to overcoming the low birth rate issue," adding, "We will continue to discover and promote family-friendly welfare programs and support policies that help our members achieve work-life balance."
