View original imageBeMyFriends announced on June 25 that it will open a popup store for the Naver Webtoon intellectual property (IP) 'Maru is a Puppy,' titled 'Maru's Yummy Happy Vacation!,' at Iconic Square in The Hyundai Seoul, Yeouido, Seoul, from July 2 to 15. The advance reservation page was opened at 11 a.m. on the same day.
This popup event was jointly planned by Naver Webtoon and BeMyFriends, a fandom business company. Naver Webtoon will exclusively offer 38 new merchandise (MD) items on-site with a summer vacation theme. Including 53 existing items, a total of approximately 90 products will be showcased.
BeMyFriends will operate an on-site experience zone. Visitors can enjoy participatory programs such as a 'vacation look dress code,' the 'nose walking challenge' to find hidden snacks, and 'bingsu making' activities.
