LG Display Joins Youth New Deal... Recruiting Trainees for "K-New Deal Academy"

LG Display is participating in the government-led "Youth New Deal" initiative.
On June 25, LG Display announced the launch of a tailored job training program, "Let's Grow with LG Display," aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of unemployed young people. The company is now recruiting participants for the program.
This program is part of the "K-New Deal Academy" initiative, which is promoted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Ministry of Employment and Labor. It is a practical, company-driven talent development activity, where companies design and operate job competency development programs, with the goal of nurturing customized talent required in the industrial field.
The program is open to job-seeking youth aged 34 or younger. A total of 100 participants will be selected, with applications accepted through the LG Display Newsroom until July 16. The training will run for approximately three months starting in August.
Leveraging its differentiated technological leadership, LG Display plans to provide specialized job training focused on display manufacturing technology, which is designated as a national high-tech industry. By incorporating the latest on-site technology trends and know-how accumulated through leading OLED (organic light-emitting diode) innovation, the program offers practical, hands-on knowledge that sets it apart from typical job training courses.
The curriculum consists of "basic competency" programs to help participants with career planning and "professional competency" programs that teach essential AI utilization skills and practical display technology for the future manufacturing environment. In addition, the program provides comprehensive job search support, including on-the-job mentoring from current employees, one-on-one resume consulting, and mock interviews.
The instructors are senior researchers with more than 10 years of experience in the display field, as well as key experts with specialized certifications in related areas, ensuring a high level of professionalism in the training.
This program is designed so that even those without a background in display technology or AI (artificial intelligence) can learn from the basics. Regardless of qualifications or career gaps, anyone can participate and build solid practical skills from the ground up.
In particular, by learning how to apply highly sought-after AI technology to actual job roles—a skill in high demand across all industries—participants will be able to significantly strengthen their competitiveness as job seekers.
In addition, selected trainees will receive a monthly youth allowance of 300,000 won. Graduates who complete the course will receive an official certificate, and electronic devices equipped with LG Display panels will be awarded as prizes.
