Cosmecca Korea Selected for 'AI Applied Products Rapid Commercialization Support Project'
Building an Industry-Academia-Research Consortium
Presenting the "K-Beauty AX Standard Model" through AI-Driven Manufacturing Intelligence
On June 25, Cosmecca Korea announced that it has been finally selected for the 'AI Applied Products Rapid Commercialization Support Project' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and will begin in earnest the transition to artificial intelligence (AX) in cosmetics manufacturing sites.
Through this project, Cosmecca Korea will undertake a manufacturing innovation project worth approximately 3.5 billion won over the next two years. The company plans to build an AI-based autonomous manufacturing platform specialized for the cosmetics industry.

Each organization will be responsible for AI technology development and validation, manufacturing data analysis, and expert consulting, supporting the successful execution of the project.
The core of this project lies in integrating all stages of the cosmetics manufacturing process into a single "intelligent autonomous manufacturing platform." Until now, the cosmetics manufacturing industry has relied heavily on workers' experience and manual operations, making data-driven objectification and automation major challenges.
To address this, Cosmecca Korea will pursue key AI initiatives such as: predicting the preservability of cosmetics; objectifying sensory evaluations based on sensor and physical property data; automatically designing optimal formulas to maximize usability and stability; implementing a multi-vision AI-based fool-proof inspection system; providing proactive alerts through integrated data; real-time data analysis using natural language; and digital twin-based virtual simulation and autonomous equipment control.
Jo Imrae, Chairman of Cosmecca Korea, stated, "By successfully completing this project, we will establish the 'K-Beauty AX Standard Model' for the domestic cosmetics industry and lead the intelligence transformation of the industry. We aim to accelerate the digital transformation of all processes and deliver innovative products to global clients more quickly."
