Wolseong Nuclear Power Headquarters Holds "2nd Nuclear Communication Committee 2026"
Wolseong Nuclear Power Headquarters of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (headed by Kwon Won-taek) held the "2nd Wolseong Headquarters Nuclear Communication Committee in 2026" on June 23.
The Wolseong Headquarters Nuclear Communication Committee consists of a total of 14 members, including Head Kwon Won-taek, three internal committee members, a member of the Gyeongju City Council, local resident representatives, and regional experts.

View original imageAt the meeting, they reviewed social contribution activities such as delivering side dishes to low-income families, which Wolseong Headquarters has been carrying out through voluntary fundraising by its employees.
In addition, the results of local engagement activities carried out in the second quarter were shared, including the rice seedling support project during rice planting season, the release of olive flounder fry and abalone spat raised at the headquarters' warm water aquaculture facility, as well as the "Centenarian Village Certification" project in which the headquarters' management directly participates.
The committee members requested, "Please continue to make efforts for the development of the local community through activities that provide direct benefits, and promote greater cooperation and harmony between the nuclear power plant and the region."
