Employees checked their knowledge of paper carton recycling through quizzes and practiced correct methods of separating and disposing of aseptic packs using products such as Hanmi Science's "Wanjeon Duyu The Richer Seoritae Unsweetened 99.9" and "Hanmi CareMe Complete Balanced Nutrition Food."
On the 13th, a resource recycling education session was held for about 30 elementary school children of employees at the Hanmi Pharmaceutical headquarters Park Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul. Under the theme "Jjongbi's Big Transformation Operation with TenTen," this training was designed to naturally teach the concept of resource recycling and promote a proper understanding of the environment by using Hanmi Science's children's multivitamin drink "TenTen VitaTuntun."
This educational program, developed and run by the environmental public interest foundation "Forest for Life," allowed participants to learn about the importance of recycling paper cartons and the correct methods of separating and disposing of them with an expert. Experiential activities such as board games were also included. The children had hands-on experiences distinguishing between paper cartons and regular paper, and practiced differentiating between regular packs and aseptic packs.
Through this campaign, Hanmi Group exchanged the collected regular and aseptic packs at local community centers for volume-based waste bags and tissue paper. The company plans to continue systematically separating and disposing of paper cartons generated within the company by linking with municipal collection programs.
