XQure Expands Quantum Security Applications to ESS and IoT
XQure is accelerating its domestic business in post-quantum cryptography (PQC) and next-generation security infrastructure.
On the 24th, XQure announced that it will speed up its business in response to the recent executive order from the White House regarding the commercialization of quantum information science and technology (QIST). The White House recently issued an executive order aimed at securing technological leadership and promoting commercialization in quantum computing, quantum sensing, and quantum networking.
As advancements in quantum computing technology have increased concerns about the vulnerability of existing cryptographic systems, demand for post-quantum cryptography and data trust security is expected to grow. In particular, the scope of quantum security applications is expanding to include energy, energy storage systems (ESS), data centers, electric vehicle battery management, industrial Internet of Things (IoT), and AI infrastructure.
XQure plans to gradually expand the application of domestic quantum security based on its existing capabilities in security chips, USIMs, eSIMs, and authentication security. The company will first promote the transition to post-quantum cryptography and the commercialization of security infrastructure in high-security industries such as telecommunications, finance, public, and defense sectors. It also aims to expand its application scope in the future to include energy storage systems (ESS), data center power infrastructure, electric vehicle battery traceability, smart factories, and industrial IoT.
