[Weather] Highs Reach 30°C... Rain Expected in Southern Regions
On Wednesday, June 24, a light rain is expected to fall in the southern regions from the early morning hours.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, light raindrops of less than 0.1 mm may fall between early morning and afternoon in northern Gwangju and northern Jeollanam-do, Jeollabuk-do, and the southern inland of Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do. The expected precipitation is 5 to 10 mm for southern Gangwon and 5 to 10 mm for southern Jeollanam-do.

View original imageThe lowest temperatures in the morning are expected to range from 14 to 20 degrees Celsius, while the highest daytime temperatures will range from 22 to 30 degrees Celsius.
By major city, the morning low temperatures are forecast to be: Seoul 19°C, Incheon 19°C, Chuncheon 16°C, Gangneung 17°C, Daejeon 18°C, Daegu 18°C, Gwangju 20°C, Busan 20°C, and Jeju 21°C. The expected highest temperatures during the day are: Seoul 30°C, Incheon 29°C, Chuncheon 27°C, Gangneung 23°C, Daejeon 26°C, Daegu 23°C, Gwangju 26°C, Busan 23°C, and Jeju 24°C.
For Jeju Island, where a strong wind advisory is in effect, winds may blow very strongly, with instantaneous speeds exceeding 70 km/h (and more than 90 km/h in mountainous areas) until early morning, so extra caution is advised. Along the southern coast of Jeollanam-do and the coastal areas of Gyeongsangnam-do, strong winds with instantaneous speeds of around 55 km/h are also expected through the morning.
