"Appointment of Han Chansik as Senior Presidential Secretary for Civil Affairs"
"Ignoring the Voices of Reform-Minded Supporters"

Kim further questioned, "Is it truly genuine integration when the administration chooses to ignore its supporters rather than persuade them, treats comrades who have fought together as burdens, and seems to lower the standards of reform in an attempt to move forward together with conservatives?" He continued, "We built the Lee Jaemyung administration together with citizens in the public square and have ardently wished for its success more than anyone. However, success cannot be achieved through silence."
In particular, regarding the appointment of Han Chansik as Senior Presidential Secretary for Civil Affairs, Kim pointed out, "He is the person who, during his time as chief prosecutor of the Eastern District Prosecutors’ Office, led the so-called Ministry of Environment blacklist case and wielded prosecutorial power against the previous administration’s legitimate personnel decisions." He added, "I cannot help but question whether this appointment, which ignores the voices of citizens and supporters who have demanded reform, can be considered an understandable message."
He went on to say, "The bigger problem is that this is not the first time," adding, "I am doubtful whether such appointments can fulfill the core reform agenda."

He concluded, "The National Innovation Party will strive for the success of the Lee Jaemyung administration," but also stressed, "Solidarity does not mean unilateral silence.
