JNTC Secures 250 Billion Won Order for Automotive 3D Cover Glass
JNTC, a domestic materials and components company, announced on the 23rd that it has secured new vehicle 3D cover glass orders totaling 250 billion won. The products will be supplied for new models of global automakers in Europe and the United States.
Since beginning mass production of vehicle 3D cover glass in 2021, JNTC has established a customized mass production supply system based on its coating technology and quality competitiveness. The company stated that this large-scale order demonstrates recognition of its differentiated technology and cost competitiveness compared to existing competitors in the Greater China region.
The company explained that with the mass production of these new models, it will have established a supply system for a total of seven vehicle models this year. JNTC also stated that, if currently developing models go into production, it expects stable mid- to long-term revenue growth and improved profitability.
CEO Namhyuk Cho said, "We are also on the verge of securing a new project with a North American global electric vehicle brand in July this year," and added, "The company's position in the global automotive display market, which is increasingly based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology, will become even more solid in the future."
