The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea (hereinafter referred to as 'Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae') announced on the 22nd that Mujin Machine Tool Co., Ltd. donated 10 million KRW to enhance the digital capabilities of disabled people in the Gwangju area and to expand their opportunities for social participation.

This donation ceremony took place on the 17th at the Gwangju City Association for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled education center, alongside the award ceremony for the '2026 AI Dream Challenge for the Disabled with Mujin Machine Tool.' The event was attended by Seongeun Cho, CEO of Mujin Machine Tool Co., Ltd., Jinseok Noh, Secretary General of Gwangju Sarangui Yeolmae, and Jongman Na, President of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Association for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled.
The donated funds were used through the Gwangju Metropolitan City Association for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled to support AI education and challenge events for people with disabilities. In particular, this initiative was meaningful because it provided opportunities for people with disabilities to experience artificial intelligence technology and to demonstrate their creativity and problem-solving skills in the era of digital transformation.
The '2026 AI Dream Challenge for the Disabled with Mujin Machine Tool' was a program aimed at strengthening AI utilization skills for registered disabled individuals in the Gwangju region. Participants had the chance to experience AI technology firsthand and to explore their potential through education and challenge activities. The award ceremony held that day included recognition of outstanding participants and a session to share the outcomes of the project.
