According to Woori Financial Group on June 22, Chairman Yim will be visiting Japan and Taiwan from today through the 25th, where he will hold IR sessions covering Woori Financial’s mid- to long-term growth strategy, capital policy, and shareholder return direction, among other topics.
He plans to hold one-on-one meetings with major institutional investors in Japan and Taiwan to share management strategies and measures to enhance corporate value in depth. In addition, he will focus on explaining that, even amid ongoing external uncertainties and market volatility, Woori Financial’s capital strength and growth foundation are being steadily reinforced. A Woori Financial representative stated, “Based on our improved capital capacity, with our Common Equity Tier 1 (CET1) ratio at 13.60% as of the end of the first quarter this year, we are actively communicating our efforts to expand productive financial supply and support for future growth industries.”
In addition, the company will explain that with the launch of Woori Investment & Securities and the acquisitions of Tongyang Life Insurance and ABL Life Insurance, it is supplementing its bank-centered profit structure and firmly establishing a comprehensive financial group system. The group will also present its roadmap to diversify its profit base through the expansion of its non-banking portfolio, with the goal of enhancing sustainable profit generation over the mid- to long-term.
