Raonsecure, an AI security and authentication platform company (co-CEOs Soonhyung Lee and Jeongah Lee), announced on June 22 that it has signed a "business agreement for the joint promotion of a digital authentication project for elementary, middle, and high school education" with the Beautiful School Movement Headquarters and Future & More.
The core of this agreement is to establish a system that enables elementary, middle, and high schools nationwide to manage students' identity information and records of educational activities through a reliable digital authentication method. The project will utilize Raonsecure’s “OmniOne Badge” and “OmniOne Digital ID” solutions to integrate and manage each student’s activities and growth, both inside and outside school, as digital data.
Currently, while students accumulate a wide range of experiences such as school projects, volunteer work, certifications, club activities, and career exploration, the related records are dispersed across various documents and systems, making it difficult to systematically utilize them when needed.
To address this, the three companies plan to integrate students’ achievements and activity histories using digital badges and digital IDs, and to establish a certification infrastructure that can be trusted and utilized in processes such as school admissions or external activities.
In particular, this project is meaningful in that it moves away from the traditional evaluation methods focused on grades and official certificates and allows for individual experiences and growth processes to be showcased. This approach enables students’ diverse competencies and the context of their activities to be digitally recorded and used.
For example, problem-solving skills demonstrated through school projects, community experiences gained from volunteer work, and achievements in local community-linked activities that were difficult to fully express with traditional records can now be issued and accumulated as digital badges. Through this, schools can more flexibly operate educational programs tailored to each student’s characteristics, and students can manage their growth process as a single digital portfolio.
This collaboration is also noteworthy as it serves as a model for spreading digital authentication in education by combining digital authentication technology, educational field networks, and business implementation capabilities. By merging Raonsecure’s authentication platform technology, the Beautiful School Movement Headquarters’ nationwide school network, and Future & More’s business planning and development capabilities, a practical digital trust infrastructure applicable to the actual educational field is expected to be established.
Raonsecure plans to use this project as an opportunity to expand its existing university-centered employment and recruitment-linked digital authentication model into the area of identity and competency verification for elementary, middle, and high school students. The company aims to convert various activities and achievements accumulated by students during school life into reliable digital assets, thereby contributing to the digital transformation of educational sites and the establishment of a customized growth management system.
Changsoo Kim, Head of Service Business Division at Raonsecure, stated, “This project marks the starting point for recording and applying students’ identity and growth experiences from elementary, middle, and high school on a Web3-based trust infrastructure,” adding, “We will continue to utilize Web3 technology to help create an educational environment where each student’s diverse competencies are recognized fairly and reliably.”
