9 out of 10 Israelis Say "Iran Is the Winner of the Middle East War and Ceasefire Agreement"
According to Yonhap News on June 21 (local time), citing local media reports, a recent survey in Israel—which fought a war against Iran alongside the United States—found that an overwhelming majority of respondents considered Iran to be the winner of the conflict.
According to the report, a public opinion poll conducted by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and its Agam Institute from June 17 to 20 found that 92.1% of respondents named Iran as the winner of the war between the United States and Israel versus Iran and of the U.S.-Iran ceasefire agreement. Additionally, 82.9% of respondents said that the recent military operation has weakened Israel’s security in the long term.
Furthermore, 72.5% of respondents said they did not believe Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's claim that "Israel has gained significant benefits from this war and eliminated existential threats."
In addition, 87.8% of respondents assessed that Israel had either failed to achieve its objectives or had achieved only some of them.
Regarding Prime Minister Netanyahu’s performance, 56.4% of respondents said that his management of the military operation was inadequate or a failure.
Moreover, 48.2% of respondents said they would support resuming large-scale military operations against Hezbollah, even if it meant risking a conflict with U.S. President Donald Trump.

The survey was conducted in the form of a questionnaire with a weighted sample reflecting population proportions, targeting 3,644 Israelis aged 17 or older. The maximum margin of error is ±2.2 percentage points at a 99% confidence level.
