On June 21, President Lee Jaemyung reshuffled some members of the Blue House staff.
At a press briefing held at the Chunchugwan on this day, Kang Hunsik, Chief Presidential Secretary, announced the appointment of Han Chansik, attorney at Kim & Chang, as the new Senior Presidential Secretary for Civil Affairs.
Sung Kihong, former President and CEO of Yonhap News Agency, was appointed as the Senior Presidential Secretary for Public Relations and Communication, while Kim Kyungja, visiting professor at Woosuk University, was appointed as the Senior Presidential Secretary for Social Affairs.

At the Office of National Security, both the First and Third Deputy Directors were replaced. The position of First Deputy Director for National Security was filled by Kang Geonjak, a member of the President's Future Defense Strategy Committee and former commander of the 6th Corps. Song Kiho, former Blue House Secretary for Economic Security, was appointed as the Third Deputy Director for National Security.
